Joseph Wilson Greer, 96, of Kissimmee, Fla., passed away on April 7, 2017. He was born in Monessen on Nov. 13, 1920, to James and Margaret Greer. Joseph honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a steelworker and a Methodist by faith. He moved to Florida in 1982 from Pennsylvania. He is survived by his son, David Greer (Barbara); daughter-in-law, Linda Greer; and grandchildren, Joseph Greer III, Ryan Greer, Brenan Greer and Bethanne Wilson; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Briana, David, Jacob, Margaret, Grace, Frank, John and Cameron. He was predeceased by his wife, Constance Greer; son, Joseph W. Greer; brothers, James, Thomas and William Greer Srs.; sisters, Helen Hill, Ann Eley and Jenny Jacobson. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
