Pennsylvania is on the verge of making history this week — and not in a good way.
Our state is two days away from completely running out of money in its main bank account. Gov. Wolf has alerted the eight insurance companies that administer Medicaid benefits in the state that they probably won’t receive their $800 million monthly payment on time. If that happens, it will mark the first time Pennsylvania’s government has missed a payment because of insufficient funds.
