A Monessen man free on bond in a Fourth of July home invasion case is accused of threatening a city police officer during a traffic stop.
Tamaine Oscar Underwood, 37, of Reed Avenue was stopped on Reed Avenue 1:30 p.m. Sunday for driving with an expired inspection and emission sticker. Underwood allegedly admitted to Officer Brian Mickens he was driving with a suspended license. As Mickens walked back to his vehicle to write the traffic citation, Underwood reportedly started yelling, “How long does it take to write a citation?”
