Ellen Trembach Hamer, 96, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017. Born April 21, 1921 in Pricedale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Fekula Trembach. A lifelong resident of Fairhope, Mrs. Hamer was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church, Fairhope. She was a graduate of Duffs Business School of Pittsburgh, a homemaker, well-traveled, and active in a number of civic organizations and her church. Ellen also had many other interests and talents.She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen Hamer of Charleroi, and Diane and Terry Diehl of Rostraver Township; son and daughter-in-law Craig and Carla Hamer of St. Louis, Missouri, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Diehl and wife, Anju, Holly Desai and husband, Ritesh, Christopher Hamer; four great-grandchildren Keturah, Sam, Max and Marty; two brothers and sister-in-law, Joe Trembach of Carroll Township, George and Rose Trembach of Lorain, Ohio; and two sisters-in-law, Grace Tembach and Janet Hamer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hamer; four brothers, Nicholas Trembach, John Trembach, Dave Trembach, Leon Trembach; and two sisters, Ann Brizzi and Marcie Kelly.
