Helen M. Vivio, 92, of Monessen, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born April 10, 1925, in New Eagle, daughter of the late John and Ann Roman Petrisin. Helen grew up in Donora and was a 1943 graduate of Donora High School. She received her license as a registered nurse at Braddock General Nursing Hospital and worked at the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital for many years. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen. Helen loved working outdoors, especially painting and landscaping, and was a creative decorator. She was also known as the neighborhood nurse, always ready to lend a hand when someone was in need. She is survived by her three sons, David (Tammy) Vivio of Cecil Township, Ronald (Michelle) Vivio of Carroll Township, Jeffrey (Joyce) Vivio of Monessen; sister-in-law, Millie Petrisin of Clairton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. “Moose” Vivio; brother, Jerome Petrisin; and sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Harold Greeban. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held Thursday, beginning with a 9:30 a.m. Blessing, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, with the Rev. Michael J.
