Thomas C. Connor, 74, of Mapleview, (Charleroi), went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. Son of the late Neal and Pauline Regula Connor, he was born in North Charleroi on Jan. 4, 1943. He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church of Charleroi. Tom, in his youth, was very active in basketball, football and baseball in Dunlevy, and coached Little League baseball for several years in Charleroi. An easygoing, soft-spoken and kind-hearted man, he worked long hours and spent his free time maintaining his home and property. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. He was employed as a patient service representative for Elizur Corporation in Wexford until his retirement in December 2016. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Plesko Connor, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on Oct. 14, 2017; two daughters and one son-in-law, Michelle (Jerry) Suppa of California, Pa., and Kelly Connor of Belle Vernon; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian (Courtney) Connor of Cranberry Township; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane (Augie) Peltonen of Atlantic City, N.J.; two grandchildren, Ethan Connor Russell and Mckinley Brooklyn Connor; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Lilly the cat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ellen Sukla.
