Nellie L. Maise – Charleroi

Nellie L. Maise, 83, of Charleroi, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017. She was born Aug. 29, 1934, in Charleroi, the daughter of the late Wilma Cullen and Cleon Ellis. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Perryopolis. Nellie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Maise Dillard and husband, Alfred, of Charleroi, and Natalie A. Maise of Beltsville, Md.; her sons, Thomas E. Maise of Belle Vernon and Kenneth L. Maise of Charleroi; two grandchildren Thomas Maise and wife, Amanda, and Nicholas Maise; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Kaley Maise; her sister, Cleo Bisacky of Valpraiso, Ind.; her brother, Robert Ellis and wife, Kim, of Deltone, Fla.; and her sister-in-law Kathy Ellis of Bethel Park; In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Mannarino and her brother, Clifford Ellis. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, 307 E. Independence St., Perryopolis, with Pastor Melissa Snyder officiating. Family and friends attending the funeral services are being asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery in Centerville Borough.
