Aaron Mitchell Winbush, 61, of Monongahela, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, in the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 7, 1956, in Pittsburgh, the son of Clifford Winbush Jr. of Monongahela and the late Harriet Jefferson Winbush. Aaron was a 1976 graduate of Ringgold High School and a member of their band. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army National Guard in which he served three tours in the Middle East. He was employed as a welder at ArcelorMittal in Monessen, where he worked for the past 18 years. An outdoor enthusiast, Aaron enjoyed fishing, kayaking, gardening and had a passion for taking photographs. He was a truly genuine and talented man who will be missed by his family and countless friends from all over the world. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Angelita Simbillo Winbush, with whom he celebrated nine years of marriage on March 3, 2017; two daughters, Ma.Arianne Gayle Gravatt and husband Bryan and Kaysee Ara Gregorio, all of Monongahela; two grandchildren, Alaina B. Gravatt and Fhiona Khiya Takahashi; two sisters, Jeanine Robinson and husband Darrell of Baldwin, and Marilyn Jones of Monongahela. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Winbush and Clifford Winbush III. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, with Pastor Darrell Robinson officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
