Lucinda Loran Lesko Botsko, 67, of Charleroi, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, in Washington Hospital. Born in Lorain, Ohio, on Aug. 1, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Lesko and Florence Mary Hiles. A homemaker, Lucinda was Catholic by faith. A few years ago she became ill with cancer and fought the good fight to the end. She kept her will and desire for life. She will be sadly missed and was dearly loved by many. She is survived by her son, John M. (Sandra) Painter Jr. of Donora; daughter, Cynthia Painter of Charleroi; grandchildren, Kayla Painter, Brenden Jozefczyk, Halie Smith, Brian Bobbs, John M. Painter III, Jesse Painter and Cameron Painter; three great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Smith; sister, Darlene Joyce; and her longtime best friend who was like a sister, Susan Seese. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Botsko. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at JAMES C. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery.
