Margaret Magruda, 86, of Fallowfield Township, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born in Gastonville on March 4, 1931, daughter of Eugene and Mabel Warren McDonald. Margaret was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi. She loved playing bingo in the Mon Valley area. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Debra Yasek, of Fallowfield Township; two sons, Patsy and Gerald Magruda, both of Fallowfield Township; three grandchildren, Laura (Doug) Luckock, Will Prati and Richard Mose; four great-grandchildren, Ashley Prati, Conner Luckock, Marlee Luckock and Madeline (Maddie) Mose; a brother, Bobby McDonald of the state of California; and three sisters, Elsie Trail of Finleyville, Patricia Gamble of Monongahela and Jackie Ralston of Donora. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Magruda, in 2007; a son, John Magruda, in 2010; two brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 14, 2018, at LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with the Rev. Gerald Mikonis as celebrant. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery.
