Woman charged with assaulting officer

An Elrama woman is accused of assaulting a Monongahela City police officer who was attempting to help her into her home Saturday night.

Cathy A. Heckman, 55, of Davidson Avenue, is charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, simple assault and terroristic threats.
