Donora retains council president

Donora council President Jane Ackerman told residents at Thursday’s meeting that Councilman John Conger warned her to either resign her presidency or be voted out.

Ackerman and Conger largely seemed to agree with the account she gave about an incident at her home Aug. 2, but they differed wildly on their perceptions of the conversation.
