Emotional opening night for The Wall That Heals

It was almost impossible to find a dry set of eyes on Jimmy Long Field in Renziehausen Park on Thursday as nearly 1,000 people attended the opening ceremony welcoming The Wall That Heals traveling Vietnam War memorial and education center to McKeesport.

The memorial, maintained by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, lists 58,318 names of Americans who died, were prisoners of war, or are considered missing in action as a result of the Vietnam War.
