Severe storms bring flash floods

Severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain to the Mid-Mon Valley Friday, flooding and damaging roadways and homes.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh issued several flash flood warnings throughout the afternoon and evening, advising motorists to avoid water-covered roads.
