Picnic brings veterans together in White Oak

Dozens of area veterans packed White Oak Park’s Magnolia Pavilion on Friday for a veterans appreciation cookout.

The White Oak Vet Center invited veterans who served in any branch of the military to the park in a combined effort to thank them for their service and to spread the word about the services the center offers.
