Glassport back taxes rolling in

Glassport Borough councilman Angelo Norelli began his report on delinquent tax collections by asking, “Can I get a drumroll?” His good news was that more back taxes have been collected so far in 2018 than all of last year.
The borough’s new delinquent tax collector, MM&B, brought in $190,439 in the first seven months of 2018. Last year, about $180,000 in back taxes were rounded up by its former collector, Keystone.
