DA talks to police about new warrant office

Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr. met with nearly 40 Mon Valley-based police officers at the Palisades in McKeesport on Saturday to discuss what his office hopes to achieve by constructing a warrant office in the former McKeesport Daily News Building.
According to Zappala, the office is expected to open in October and will serve approximately 30 Allegheny County-based police departments that are located south of Route 30 and north of Route 51.
