Charleroi glassware facility to get upgrade

Charleroi is known around the world for its history of making Pyrex glass products. So much so, that in 2015 the borough changed its name for one day to celebrate its 100-year anniversary of producing the durable glass.

On Tuesday, two Mon Valley-based elected officials relayed the news that the borough’s glassmaking plant will be receiving an upgrade.
