Monessen submits audit response

Monessen School District has completed a corrective action plan in response to state Auditor General Eugene DePasquale’s recent performance audit.

In a statement released in late August, DePasquale said late financial statements and reports have caused the district to put its financing and credit ratings at risk, which he said is “not a fiscally responsible way to run a school district.”
