Couple accused of abusing child to stand trial

A Monessen couple charged in the beating and burning of their 1-year-old son have been ordered to stand trial in Westmoreland County Court.

David Allen Jackson Jr., 28, and Amanda M. Billion, 33, appeared in Monessen’s Magisterial District Court Friday and each waived their rights to preliminary hearings.
