Hounds overcome slow start to beat Bentworth

Monessen head coach Mike Blainefield was wondering how his team would react to its first loss of the season last week against West Greene. Early on in the Week 5 matchup against Bentworth, it looked like the Greyhounds were still trying to recover.

The Hounds (4-1, 3-1) overcame a 13-point first quarter deficit to cruise past visiting Bentworth, 44-21, in a homecoming game at Memorial Stadium. The Greyhounds dressed only 20 players for Friday’s game.
