American Textile Co. growing in McKeesport

A textile manufacturing and production company is expanding its business into McKeesport, and is promising to bring some new jobs with it.

American Textile Company, a 90-year-old Duquesne-based company which makes bedding including pillows, mattress pads, protectors, blankets, sheets and comforters announced Thursday officials have signed a lease for 98,000 square feet of space for its warehousing and distribution operations in the Manor I building at the Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Industrial Center of McKeesport, formerly U.S. Steel’s National Tube Works.
