McGuffey pulls away from Frazier in 41-21 win

Neither of McGuffey’s opponents managed to score on the Highlanders in the past two weeks. Frazier was able to do that and then some, staying even with visiting McGuffey through the first half of Friday’s Section 3-AA contest before falling behind in the second half to drop a 41-21 decision.
“I’m very proud of our effort and very proud of the toughness of our kids down the stretch,” Frazier head coach Mike Steeber said. “In the second half, I think (McGuffey) made good plays, and we had a hard time stopping the run.”
