Donora’s newest manufacturing business has received a $1 million grant to fund new technology investment and production expansion. Tech Met purchased the former PolyOne Corp. facility on East Eighth Street in Donora almost two years ago and has invested more than $4 million into the site.
Incorporated 30 years ago in Glassport, Tech Met provides chemical, electrochemical, photochemical machining and surface preparation services to a variety of aerospace, defense, medical and industrial customers.
