Loans available for flood damage

The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved Gov. Tom Wolf’s request to declare a disaster in Westmoreland County following severe flood damage to homes and businesses on Sept. 9 in the wake of Tropical Storm Gordon.
Several inches of water caused headaches for homeowners, renters and businesses impacted by the storm in several area counties. Residents who suffered damages could be eligible for low-interest disaster loans through SBA Disaster Loan Programs.
