Jewish community reacts to tragedy

“This is a nightmare.”
That was the feeling among the Mid-Mon Valley’s Jewish community this weekend, according to attorney Jack Bergstein of Monessen’s Temple Beth Am synagogue.
A lifelong member of the Watkins Street temple, Bergstein, 78, said his congregation is still reeling from the shock of Saturday’s shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood.
