Flooded homeowner gets support from Donora council

A Donora family’s year-long battle with the Mon Valley Sewage Authority over several incidents of flooding in their home has taken another turn.
In September, Ruth Koontz of Gilmore Avenue presented the authority board and solicitor Aaron Bialon with a cost appraisal estimate of more than $20,000 worth of damages sustained as a result of one of six floods her home has experienced this year.
