Bulldogs top Bearcats in WPIAL final

No. 3 Bentworth was unable to overcome a four-goal halftime deficit Saturday in a 7-2 loss at the hands of top-seeded Freedom in the WPIAL Class A championship at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh.
The Bearcats (17-3) were limited to just three shots in the loss while Freedom, which claimed its second championship in three years, compiled 21, including 16 shots on goal.
