Charges dismissed for man found asleep with gun

A 28-year-old Charleroi man who was found sleeping inside his vehicle with his finger on the trigger of a gun on his lap over the summer has had all charges dismissed.
Michael Penn, 28, of Arlington Avenue, had charges of carrying a firearm without a license, public drunkenness and restrictions on alcoholic beverages dismissed following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hopkins on Thursday.
