Union’s complaints over jail disputed

Washington County officials responded with disbelief to some of the allegations laid out by the corrections facility’s union members last week.
In a letter dated Nov. 8, Joseph Fellencer, National Correctional Employees Union labor representative, said the county jail is unable to operate in a safe, effective or efficient manner.
