Elizabeth hosting community Thanksgiving dinner

Elizabeth borough officials have gone to efforts to ensure no citizen in the borough or surrounding communities spend Thanksgiving alone.

The borough’s police and fire departments have collaborated with council members Robin Payne-Main and Julius Brown to host Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Elizabeth Borough Fire Department bingo hall for anyone in the community spending the holiday alone.
