Homes for the Holidays

This weekend, local architecture and home design buffs who have spent their lives admiring “the big beautiful homes” around the Mid-Mon Valley will have their chance to take a peek inside some of them.

The fourth annual Belle Vernon area “Homes for the Holidays” house tour is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Participants of the tour will have the chance to tour six local historical homes. Highlights on the tour will include seeing an 1800s-style home, the Lykos Estate, a Craftsman-style home, an early century home, a personal manor and the home with the first-built in pool in the Mon Valley.
