McPhatter named D2CCA Defensive Player of the Year

California University defensive back Lamont McPhatter II was selected as the D2CCA Super Region One Defensive Player of the Year Friday morning.

McPhatter also earned first-team all-region laurels while linebacker London Cloud and offensive lineman Craig McCorkle both were second-team all-region selections.
