Editorial; Show will go on at Coyle Theater

THERE MAY BE SOME LIFE left in the Coyle Theater after all.

Charleroi’s historic showplace shut its doors in 1999, ending a 72-year run as one of the Mon Valley’s top spots for entertainment. But on Monday, the Mon Valley Alliance, which purchased the building two years ago, announced a plan to reopen the theater and put a new building next door.
