Column: Tossing the red flag on Coach Tomlin

I heard something on my way to work Wednesday that at first blew my mind, but after thinking about it, I wasn’t really surprised.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, unlike many other coaches in the NFL and other major sports leagues, admitted he doesn’t have a member of his coaching staff or a Steelers employee in the booth informing him of when to challenge — or not challenge — questionable calls.
