No tax increase in New Eagle budget

There will be no tax increase for New Eagle Borough residents.

Council unanimously voted Tuesday to pass the $498,120.47 budget for 2019 while holding taxes at 2.58 mills. A mill generates about $82,500, and the millage is divided into 2.3 mills for real estate tax and .28 for street lighting.
