Police: Argument over cellphone led to McKeesport shooting

A Pittsburgh man is accused of shooting another man Tuesday night in McKeesport over a disagreement involving a cellphone.
Around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Allegheny County 911 received multiple calls regarding shots fired on 25th Street.
When McKeesport Police arrived, they discovered a 28-year-old unidentified male in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a Pittsburgh trauma center and was listed in critical condition, police said.
Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene where they learned the shooting occurred inside a residence in the 400 block of 25th Street and that it was the result of a disagreement over a cellphone. It was determined that 28-year-old Allen Brown was allegedly told by an unidentified person the victim took a cellphone belonging to someone Brown knew and an altercation transpired, according to police.
