Warriors drop close decision to Derry

Last nights AA Section 3B wrestling match between Elizabeth Forward and Derry Area came down to the final bout of the night.
Derry was clinging to a 42-36 lead and EF needed a pin at 160 pounds to tie things up and go to the tie-breaking criteria rules.
But the Trojans’ Trey Weinell won a hard fought 3-2 decision over Chris Bruce to make the final score 45-36.
