Editorial: ‘Hot car bill’ protects pets
Pennsylvania’s pets are a little safer today because of the “hot car bill” that took effect this week.
The new law gives law enforcement, animal control and humane officers greater freedom to rescue unattended pets locked in vehicles if weather conditions are hot or cold enough to endanger the animals’ lives.
