Record year for Charleroi firefighters

The Charleroi Volunteer Fire Department was busier in 2018 than ever before.

During a Charleroi council meeting on Thursday, Fire Chief Robert Whiten Jr. said the department is likely to hit more than 400 calls by the end of the year.
