Margaret E. Smith – Charleroi
Margaret E. Smith, 93, of Charleroi, passed away on Jan. 3, 2019, at Mon Valley Care Center. She was born on July 28, 1925, to the late John and Saluda Strolher Schuyler in Florence, S.C. Mrs. Smith had attended the Belle Vernon Church of The Nazarene. Margaret is survived by her son, Vernon C. Smith Jr. of Belle Vernon; daughter, Veretta and husband Michael Garrow of Charleroi; son, Jack and wife Dorae Smith of Mononganela; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon C. Smith Sr.; son, James B. Smith Sr.; daughter-in-law, Linda Smith; three brothers and three sisters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at the funeral home with the Rev. Patty Smith officiating. Burial will take place in the Mon Valley Memorial Park.
