New Eagle council wants daily work log from employees

New Eagle’s public works department will have to keep a daily work log for council’s review in 2019.
Council approved a motion by George Tirpak for all public works jobs to be reported regularly.
“We want a daily account of the work,” Tirpak said. “As of now, we aren’t seeing all of the jobs that are being done.”
Council President Jack Fine said the public works department costs the borough about $11,000 a month with salary and benefits.
