A house in Charleroi will soon be demolished soon, unless it falls on its own first.
During a workshop meeting Thursday night, council president Jerry Jericho brought up an emergency situation regarding a property at 807 Sixth St.
Jericho said the street crew and police were recently called to the residence, and he decided to have someone who previously did demolition work in North Charleroi take a look inside last week.
“He went in on Saturday and said there is basically no roof,” Jericho said. “The roof is sitting on the second floor and the second floor is ready to hit the first floor.”
