Man who sparked lockdowns charged

A Monessen man who fled the scene of a crash and caused two schools to be places on precautionary lockdown Friday has been charged.
Job Matthew Hill, 35, is charged with receiving stolen property, flight to avoid apprehension, false identification to law enforcement, driving with a suspended license, careless driving and accident involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property.
Charges were filed Monday by Carroll Township police with Magisterial District Judge Mark Wilson in Monongahela. Hill will be arraigned 10:30 a.m. today.
On Friday, Carroll Township police Chief Paul Brand said his department received multiple calls at 8:15 a.m. that a vehicle crashed on Coyle Curtin Road and that the driver, later identified as Hill, was running away from the scene.
