Two Pittsburgh men involved in a Monessen drug bust have been ordered to stand trial in Westmoreland County Court.
Taiwan Larue, 19, of Island Avenue and Jamaal Smith, 19, of Walcott Street appeared Friday in Monessen’s Magisterial District Court. They each waived their rights to preliminary hearings on charges of possession of marijuana.
The pair were arrested, along with two 16-year-old males who face gun and marijuana charges, following a Dec. 29 traffic stop that led to a larger investigation.
Around 2:15 p.m., Monessen police pulled over Jennifer Lynn Scott, 35, of Grand Avenue after she was allegedly seen speeding in the 1700 block of Grand Boulevard, court records indicate.
