John DeGregorio – Charleroi

John DeGregorio, 91, of Charleroi, Speers, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at 1:05 p.m. at his home. Born Aug. 18, 1927, in Monessen, he was the son of the late Mariano and Josephine Delledonne DiGregorio. A resident of Speers for the past four years, Mr. DeGregorio was a Jehovah’s Witness and was a retired manager from Corning Glass of Charleroi. John served as a full-time minister since the age of 17, enjoyed Bible reading, spending time with his nieces and nephews, enjoying the sunshine and spending time on the beach and found comfort with his animals. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hamer DeGregorio, to whom he was married 27 years; daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and Gary Talmich of Speers; two sons and a daughter-in-law. Jason and Maria Stoltz of Charleroi, John Thomas of Milton; two brothers, Joseph DiGregorio of Charleroi, Robert DiGregorio of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rita DiGregorio, Jean Adamio and Alice Dismera. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1596 Grand Blvd., Monessen, with the Kevin Gillis officiating.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183.
