Gerard C. Sabolek – Arnold City

Gerard C. Sabolek, 61, of Arnold City, Belle Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, in UPMC Shadyside hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1957, in Charleroi, son of Andrew Sabolek and Catherine Kessler Sabolek. Gerard was a good friend to many people. He is survived by his son, Drew Sabolek and girlfriend Morgan of Dunlevy; two brothers, Thomas Sabolek and wife Marybeth of Fayette City and Daniel Sabolek and wife Teresa of Belle Vernon; two sisters-in-law, Daria Sabolek O’Leary of Fayette City and Terri Horton of Fallowfield Township. He was preceded in death by parents; brother Andrew Sabolek and sister Laurie Sabolek. Funeral arrangements were handled by the ELEY/MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City.
