White Oak reminds drivers of parking regulations for snow

After having issues plowing during recent snowstorms, the White Oak public works and code enforcement departments have issued a warning to residents regarding street parking in snowy weather.
A notice on the borough website (www.woboro.com) reminds residents that during a heavy snowstorm, all parked cars must be removed from the streets to enable snow removal crews to plow as much as possible.
Code enforcement officer Brian Dinkfelt and public works employees are asking residents who do not have access to off-street parking to put their cars as close to the curb as possible.
Residents should try to avoid parking directly across from another vehicle during a snowstorm, and where possible, the crews are asking residents to keep all on-street parking to the side of the street where homes have odd-numbered addresses.
