Running a barber shop is a hair-razing experience

Justin Komondor struggles to care much about how his hair looks. The 32-year-old Monongahela resident used to only get a haircut once or twice a year and would get his haircut by Laura D’Emidio when she worked at a place in Belle Vernon. Now that she owns a barber shop in Monongahela, he gets a cut more like every few months.
“It’s convenient,” he said. “She does a nice job.”
He’ll get a shave, too.
“She’s never cut me. She’s the best with a straight razor,” he said.
