State police in Belle Vernon have refiled charges against two cousins accused of a September assault that sent two Roscoe sisters to the hospital.
Devante L. Brooks, 26, of Bridgeville and his cousin, James E. Gaston Jr., 27, of Washington were originally charged in November, but charges were dismissed after preliminary hearings held early last month in front of Magisterial District Judge Larry Hopkins in Charleroi.
Police refiled both cases in Hopkins court Wednesday.
When interviewed by state police, Emily R. Hartley and her sister, Kyrstone J. Beach, allegedly said they picked Brooks and Gaston up at a gas station in Bentleyville to come back to their home in Roscoe for a card game.
